Which SEER rating is right for you?
Most air conditioning units that we use have a SEER rating in the mid-to upper teens, but there are some units available with SEER ratings of 20 or more. The government regulates these ratings the US requires that units installed in Florida have a rating of at least 14 SEER. This number is monitored and updated frequently ensuring you are using the most effective unit. However, it’s important to note that a unit with a 16 SEER rating will cool just as effectively as the 14 SEER unit, but it will use less energy which will save you money over the long run.
